Introduction

As mentioned previously, there are several personal risk factors that increase the risk of developing a burnout.

Three important personal risk factors will be addressed in the following lessons, namely:

  • Not being able to say ‘No’
  • Over-responsibility
  • Unhealthy perfectionism

During these lessons we offer:

  • a definition of the risk factor,
  • we will measure whether this risk factor is present with you,
  • why you are sensitive to this risk factor
  • we give you crucial information about the risk factor
  • we explain how to eliminate this risk factor

In the next lesson we start with the first personal risk factor: ‘Not being able to say ‘No’.
