What is it about?

U-Count! stands for quality career guidance. We support people with various career questions with ‘evidence-based’ interventions.
The goal is to give you the insight and the tools to grow and thus build a professional life that is satisfying and in line with your own values and standards .

Contrary to what many people think, looking for a new job is only possible in a minority of cases!
In fact, career counseling offers an answer to every question that has to do with your career:

I feel stressed by my work and lifeless. What can I do about it?
Teleworking is not easy for me. I feel like I can’t shut myself off from my work. How do I find a better work-life balance?
How do I ensure that I am not lonely while teleworking?

Our vision is that every career question should be subject to a thorough problem and expectations analysis.

After all, it is necessary to acquire a thorough understanding of the reasons why you want career guidance. It is also essential to have a concrete view of your expectations and goals .

A thorough analysis leads to an accurate problem definition and a clear formulation of the desired goals .

This prevents impulsive and unfounded career advice that carries the risk that you will be confronted with the same difficulties (in a next job).

Drawing up such an analysis and subsequently applying and implementing the appropriate interventions will help you achieve the desired objectives.

All this should lead to a satisfactory continuation of the career. Such a result is not only a win for yourself, but also for the company where you work.

Career guidance is an initiative of the Flemish Government and is supported by the VDAB with the career check . You only pay 80 Euro for 7 hours of guidance. The condition is that you have been working as an employee or self-employed person in Flanders for 7 years.
